Practice for the final

Deal all,

A document titled "GT practice for the final" has been uploaded on eClass. As explained during the lectures, if you are able to understand and solve questions like the ones in the document, you will be in a very good position to pass the class. To achieve a better mark there will be some more challenging parts to answer (nothing similar provided in the uploaded document).

So, focus on three thematics we covered:

1. strategic form games of complete information --> Minimum includes the following:

Learn how to describe the game properly (identify players, strategies payoffs). Be able to identify dominancies in the strategies of the players. Be able to find the Nash Equilibria (and explain them!). Also, explain what the Pareto Efficient outcomes are. Finally, understand and discuss coordination failure.

2. extensive form games of complete information --> Minimum includes the following:

Learn how to describe the game properly (identify players, nodes, strategies payoffs). Be able to identify dominancies in the strategies of the players as well as the sub-games. Be able to find the Sub-game Perfect Nash Equilibria (and explain them!) and the Backward Induction Outcome(s).

3. strategic form games of incomplete information --> Minimum includes the following:

Learn how to describe the game properly (identify players and their types, strategies payoffs). Be able to derive the unified payoff patrix. Be able to find the Bayesian Nash Equilibria (and explain them!).

Cheers,
