English ΙV: Public speaking (Με-Ω) (ΞΓ0104)

The 2nd oral presentation will take place on Tuesday 16 April. Have a look at all the Ted talks available for you to choose in the file "CA_OP 2 suggested topics". Choose one that you like in the same pairs/groups you are already in and write your names next to it in the following link:

You are to complete the file "CA_TED talk evaluation sheet", where you will prepare a short summary and evaluation of the talk you have chosen. Then you will upload it on the relevant eclass assignment. On the day of the presentations (16/4), you will present the following based on the talk you have chosen:

1. Introduce yourselves and your topic

2. Explain why you chose it (i.e. the specific talk)

3. Present the main ideas of the talk (i.e. a short summary)

4. Present the most important dominant rhetorical strategies

5. Present your own reflection on it (i.e. your opinion, the effect it had on you, if you learned anything new etc) 

 Individuals have 3-4 minutes to talk. Pairs have 6-7 and groups of three have 9-10 minutes.
