Περιγραφή Μαθήματος

The course aims at developing your academic writing skills through the reading of a wide range of texts including abstracts of scientific articles and in connection with different types of writing such as paraphrasing, paragraph and summary writing, describing graphs, synthesizing from sources, and using citations. The focus is not only on effective reading and writing but on learning how to read and write academic texts. You will be taught how to trace your own learning strategies as well as to develop and apply a range of additional strategies, appropriate for the specific tasks and for managing and evaluating your learning.
