Περιγραφή Μαθήματος

Advanced elements of international financial theory and practice in a globalized world of interdependent nations. The course is divided into three parts. Part I will be presented by Costas Karfakis and will cover exchange rate determination and the global financial cycle. Part II will be presented by Georgios Bampinas and covers the business cycles theory as well as the currency crisis. Part III will be presented by Panagiotis Samartzis and will cover the impact of monetary and fiscal policies on financial markets, the assessment and management of investment risk and the well-known efficient hypothesis and its relationship to the mutual funds.
