 Course

The course aims to present and analyze microeconomic mechanisms through the lens of institutions and culture. It examines how social, cultural, and institutional factors influence individual and firm decisions, resource allocation, and market functioning. The course also seeks to connect classical microeconomic theory with applied approaches that consider cultural and institutional specificities, providing students with tools to analyze real-world economic phenomena.

  • Analyze the impact of cultural factors on consumer choices, business strategies, and economic cooperation.
  • Apply microeconomic tools to evaluate outcomes in diverse institutional and cultural environments.
  • Connect theory with empirical data to solve economic problems at the individual, firm, and market levels.
